Christie Huang is a counsel in investments at Nationwide. Christie’s practice focuses on advising the business on a wide range of investment activities including derivatives, private placements, private debt and private equity investments and real estate financings. Christie received her J.D. from Penn State Law and her B.S. from the Ohio State University.
James Mead is a Senior Associate in the Finance Practice Group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius UK LLP and is based in London. James represents institutional investors, banks and other lenders in a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including corporate, project and structured finance transactions. James received his BA in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of Oxford and studied law at BPP Law School in London.
Keton Motta Freeman is a legal counsel in the investments section of the law department of SLC Management, the asset management subsidiary of Sun Life Financial. Keton is responsible for advising on a wide range of domestic and international investments including energy and infrastructure financings, acquisition financings, corporate financings, fund financings, real estate financings, structured credit investments, other asset-backed financings and private equity investments. Keton received his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, his MBA from Schulich School of Business in Toronto, and his BA from the University of Toronto. Before joining SLC Management, Keton practiced corporate law at two international law firms in New York and Toronto.
Wiley S. Adams is retired from PGIM, Inc. where he was Chief Legal Officer before retirement. He is still active in volunteer work with multiple bar associations and currently serving as the President of the National Bar Association as the organization celebrates its 100th year anniversary. Wiley received his JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his B.A. in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics and Political Science from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.
