Stephen Fang represents institutional investors, investment funds, insurance companies and other institutional lenders in connection with the acquisition of privately placed debt and equity securities and other secured and unsecured financing transactions involving issuers or borrowers located across the globe. In addition, Stephen’s practice focuses on advising tech businesses, and strategic investors/buyers in relation to M&A and investments in the tech sector having served as the General Counsel at one of Australia’s leading healthtech AI companies. He is admitted as a qualified solicitor in both England and NSW Australia and regular contributor to LexisNexis.
Jessica Wolfert is an associate in the Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s New York office. Jessica represents debtors, institutional investors, secured and unsecured creditors, and other parties in cross-border and domestic restructuring matters, both in and out of court. Jessica received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and her B.B.A. from Villanova University School of Business.
Jason Miller is a Senior Counsel in the Investments Law section of MetLife Investment Management. Jason is responsible for advising on a wide range of domestic and international investments including private corporate and infrastructure financings, private equity and venture capital investments and enterprise transactions. Jason received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from University of Maryland at College Park.
Amy Hong is an associate in the Corporate & Securities Practice at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. She focuses her practice on corporate finance transactions, representing insurance companies and other institutional investors in U.S. and cross-border private placements of debt securities. Amy received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.
Evan Skaar is a Senior Counsel in the Private Investments group at Thrivent Financial. Evan advises on investment transactions in a broad range of industries, including private placement transactions, private equity co-investment and limited partnership transactions and private credit transactions. Evan received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Kevin Jensen is corporate counsel in the Global Private Debt Investments group of Canada Life’s legal department. He advises on a range of North American and European private fixed-income investments, including energy, infrastructure and project-based financings, private structured lease financings and private placement bond investments in corporate issuers. Kevin began his career in private practice focusing on M&A and general corporate matters, then worked at a large privately owned agriculture company managing corporate development and legal matters related to M&A, investments and growth projects. Kevin received his J.D. from the University of British Columbia and his B.A. from the University of Manitoba.
Paige Forcier is an associate in the Hartford office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Paige represents a variety of financial institutions in a broad range of corporate finance transactions, including private placement financings and other secured and unsecured lending transactions. She is also building her practice related to corporate financial restructurings and complex workouts. Paige received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
Steven Toy is an M&A and private equity lawyer, experienced in advising private equity institutions and other forms of financial sponsor globally on a wide range of matters including acquisitions, disposals, co-investments, “one-stop” financings, co-investments, equity rollovers, incentive equity arrangements and restructurings. Steven is based in London and licensed in England and Wales.
