Maria de la Motte is an associate at Holland & Knight, where she represents institutional investors, direct lenders, and other commercial real estate investors in commercial mortgage loan originations, including credit tenant lease financings and loans intended for inclusion in securitizations, as well as mezzanine financings. Maria received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, a M.A. from New York University, and her B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross.
Megan Ford is AVP, Senior Corporate Counsel at F&G Annuities & Life, Inc., where she practices in Investments and Insurance Regulatory Compliance. Megan advises F&G’s insurance companies and in investment transactions and insurance regulatory matters. She also advises F&G in connection with capital markets transactions, including corporate debt offerings and funding agreement backed note issuance. She holds a J.D. from University of Baltimore School of Law and her B.A. from University of Maryland.
Rita Liu is an associate at ArentFox Schiff LLP, where she represents institutional investors and borrowers in various finance matters, including private equity-sponsored acquisition financings, mezzanine and alternative investment transactions, debt restructurings, and private placements. Alongside her legal expertise, Rita is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. She holds a J.D. from Washington University School of Law, a Master of Economics from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Laws from East China University of Political Science and Law.
Stephen McNamara is an associate at Bracewell, where he represents issuers and financial institutions in connection with a wide range of public and private securities transactions, including high yield bond offerings, private placements, initial public offerings, SEC-registered issuances, liability management transactions and other debt and equity financings. He also advises clients on covenant compliance, federal securities matters and general corporate law. He holds his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from Hood College.
Amira Privott-Yeiser is the Senior Legal Counsel at Kuvare Asset Management (KAM). Prior to joining KAM, Amira was an Associate Director at Kroll Bond Rating Agency responsible for the review of legal documents for cross-border and domestic asset-based 1940 Act funds, leveraged and investment-grade bank financing processes for investment and commercial banks, corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors. Previously, Amira also practiced at Milbank LLP, Sidley Austin LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP, specializing in a wide range of financing transactions. She holds a Juris Doctor in Law from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
Glenn E. Siegel is a Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Insolvency partner in the New York office of Morgan Lewis, as well as the former co-head of the firm’s restructuring and bankruptcy practice. Glenn has decades of experience handling high-level bankruptcies and counseling major stakeholders and clients on all sides of bankruptcy and restructuring matters. In the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of automotive parts maker Delphi Corp., he counseled the largest debtor-in-possession lender in its acquisition of Delphi. In the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Residential Capital, he counseled the largest residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) trustees to achieve a settlement of billions of dollars in claims. He has also counseled institutional lenders in multiple agricultural restructurings. He received his LL.M in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law, his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. from Brooklyn College.
