Kaileigh Fagan Hobson is an Associate at King & Spalding LLP. Kaileigh is active in the firm’s finance practice where she represents institutional investors and other financial institutions in transactions to provide financing to companies in a range of industries. These transactions include traditional private placements of long term notes, subordinated note, warrant and mezzanine financings as well as leveraged acquisition financing for the direct lending businesses of certain institutional investor clients. Kaileigh received her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School and her B.A. from Penn State University.
Chris Parrott is a Counsel in Akin Gump’s finance team in London. Chris is responsible for advising various institutional investors on their private placement investments (both new investments and the restructuring of existing investments) in various jurisdictions – including England, Australia, New Zealand and throughout Europe. Chris also acts for institutions in connection with direct lending and other financing arrangements. Chris received his MA in law from the University of Cambridge, and his LLM from University College London.
Bret Strzelczyk is an Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP and is based in Chicago. Bret’s practice focuses on representing insurance companies, pension funds and other institutional investors in U.S. and cross-border private placements of debt securities, both secured and unsecured. Bret has experience in negotiating and documenting general corporate financings, project finance transactions, asset securitizations, infrastructure development, public-private partnerships, credit tenant loans and tax equity transactions. Bret received his J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law and his A.B. from Illinois Wesleyan University.
Hailey Osland is a Senior Counsel on the Investment Legal team at Lincoln Financial Group. Hailey advises on private placement investments, leads the legal work for all of Lincoln’s derivatives activities, and provides subject matter expertise on securities financing transactions.
Jamie Kocis is a Partner in the securitization group at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, LLP. She advises securitization participants in warehouse securitization facilities, private placements and term securitizations across all esoteric asset classes (such as clean energy, PACE financing, timeshare, structured settlements, equipment leasing, revenue recurring loans, and intellectual property rights). Jamie received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and her B.S. in Chemistry from Binghamton University.
