A message from the co-chairs of the 2021 Spring Investment Forum, Noelle Sproul (Nuveen) and Charles Calloway (Chapman & Cutler):
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Education Committee, we invite you to join us for the ACIC’s 2022 Spring Investment Forum, to be held April 7-8, 2022 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago. This event will explore a variety of issues of interest to investors in the private placement market. We have assembled a great list of distinguished speakers and moderators that include both external and internal specialists and practitioners. We will start with a market update, take a deep dive into the Infrastructure Act, talk about private placement deals with “impact,” have a deep discussion on Filing Exempt, breakdown Private ABS transactions, and close out the day with a discussion about increasing our diversity pipeline. On Thursday morning we will welcome new members with a breakfast, and that evening we will mingle for cocktail hour. Discussion will continue Friday morning, where we will discuss developing trends in REIT transactions, have a primer on “the basics” of the Model Form and conclude with a candid discussion on ethics, predesignated counsel and effective representation of private placement investors.
